OEKO-TEX Certified Hotel Textiles

All our hotel textiles are manufactured by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and ISO 9001 certified partners. Sustainable sourcing, responsible manufacturing, honest supply.

Product Safety

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

All our hotel bed linen, towels, bathrobes and other textile products are manufactured by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified mills. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It certifies that every component of the article, including threads, buttons and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article is therefore harmless in terms of human ecology.

Full certification documentation is available on request. We can provide certificate numbers for your procurement records and supplier audits.

Quality Management

ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing

Our manufacturing partners operate under ISO 9001 quality management systems. This means consistent product standards, documented production processes, and regular independent auditing of quality controls — giving procurement managers confidence that the 300TC sheets ordered in Q1 will be identical to those ordered in Q4.

Why Turkish cotton is the responsible choice for European hotels

Turkey is one of the world's leading producers of premium cotton textiles and has been supplying European hotels for decades. Turkish cotton — particularly from the Aegean region — is known for its long staple fibres, which produce softer, stronger and more absorbent fabrics. This directly translates to better guest experience and longer product life in commercial laundry cycles.

For European hospitality buyers, Turkish manufacturing also offers a significantly shorter supply chain compared to Asian alternatives. Shorter supply chains mean lower transport carbon footprint, faster reorder cycles, and easier factory auditing — all increasingly important for hotels with sustainability commitments.

Shorter supply chain to Europe

Turkish textile mills are approximately 2,000–4,000 km from most European hotel markets — versus 10,000+ km for Chinese or Indian alternatives. Significantly lower transport carbon footprint.

Long-staple fibre quality

Aegean Turkish cotton produces long-staple fibres that resist pilling, launder well at 60°C and maintain softness through hundreds of wash cycles.

OEKO-TEX compliance built in

Leading Turkish textile mills have OEKO-TEX certification embedded in their production processes. Chemical compliance is standard, not an afterthought.

Factory audit accessibility

European procurement teams can visit Turkish factories directly — unlike distant Asian production. Easier supplier due diligence and ESG reporting.

ESG procurement: how textile sourcing fits in

The EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requires an increasing number of European companies — including hotel groups — to report on their supply chain sustainability. Procurement teams are under growing pressure to document not just what they buy, but where it comes from and under what conditions.

Choosing certified suppliers like SYG Hospitality simplifies this reporting significantly. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificates, ISO 9001 documentation and transparent Turkish-origin supply chains provide the documentation trail your ESG team needs.

How to verify OEKO-TEX certification

Any hotel procurement manager can verify OEKO-TEX certification independently. Visit the official OEKO-TEX verification portal and search using the certificate number provided by your supplier.

Key things to check: the certificate is valid and not expired, the certified product category matches what you are purchasing, the certificate holder name matches your supplier or their manufacturing partner.
